This is a good and simple example of the basics of game design and some of the aspects of such that can be transferred to other situations in bringing real world skills into video games or vice versa. The basics of it are simply that it has a goal, to get the ball in the computer’s area and keep it out of your’s, it is completely voluntary, you can turn it off whenever or if ever you like, it has clear and instant feedback system, you get a point or the computer gets a point and it has rules that are in some senses a little stupid but they are pretty clear.
